My personal picks for the 'Top 10' most desirable 'Extreme'
American Muscle Cars ('64-'72) ever built!
They feature optional
factory/dealer installed hi performance engines, often with an accompanying factory/dealer
installed performance option package, while the more common "base" models included a less
powerful standard (yet still beefy) engine / powertrain. Now approx. 40 years old, the cars
shown here have most likely gone thru $50,000+ extensive professional restorations down to evey nut and
bolt (frame off restoration), often taking up to 2 years to complete --bringing them back to their original "right
off the lot" condition.
Most selling for somewhere around $4,500+ back in late 60's
and early 70's, these high demand Top 10 Muscle Cars can now fetch $100,000+ at auction
/ $300,000+ prices are realized when "The Best of the Best" come up for sale, having the right "combination"
of rarity, matching numbers, hi performance engine, thorough documentation (key), condition (typically a very high
end restoration), beauty and market demand. The most expensive muscle car ever sold at auction was a 1971 Plymouth
Cuda' convertible -- 1 of only 11 built, selling for a staggering (and justified ) $2.2 Million!!
I
am BUYING any / all of the great American Classics shown here in ANY condition!!!
